George v. Deardorff, No. 02-11-00173-CV (Feb. 2, 2012) (Dauphinot, J., joined by Walker and Meier, JJ.).
Held: Appellant sued Appellees in Texas for defamation and other claims. Appellant failed, however, to allege facts in her petition showing that the trial court had personal jurisdiction over Appellees, who are both nonresidents. After Appellees filed pleas to the jurisdiction establishing that they are not residents of Texas, Appellant failed to produce evidence showing personal jurisdiction. Accordingly, the trial court correctly granted Appellees' pleas to the jurisdiction.
