Pollock v. State, No. 02-12-00362-CR (June 27, 2013) (Walker, J., joined by Gardner, J., and Bleil, Senior Justice, Retired, Sitting by Assignment).
Held: The evidence is sufficient to support Pollock's conviction of continuous sexual abuse of a young child; the continuous-sexual-abuse-of-a-young-child statute does not violate any constitutional right to a unanimous verdict; the jury charge did not allow for a nonunanimous verdict; and the trial court did not err by not quashing the amended indictment for failure to give Pollock notice or by assessing the maximum punishment of life imprisonment.
