Courts approve changes to rules governing disclosure of counsel in appellate petitions and briefs

The Supreme Court of Texas and Court of Criminal Appeals have approved changes to Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure to clarify that counsel must provide a complete list of all trial and appellate counsel who have appeared in a case.
The changes take effect on August 1, 2022.
