Jones v. State,   Nos. 02-07-00324-CR,    02-07-00325-CR    (June 9, 2011)   (Dauphinot, J., joined by Livingston, C.J., and Dixon W. Holman, J. (Senior Justice, Retired, Sitting by Assignment).
Held:   The State did not have to prove that any loss was incurred; rather, it had only to prove that Appellant tried to obtain more than $200,000 with each of his six fraudulent statements. Because the evidence shows that Appellant sought amounts of $680,000 and $544,000 respectively in the two loan applications, the evidence is sufficient to support his six convictions.
