COURT EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR BAR-DUES PAYMENT
The Texas Supreme Court in an emergency order posted Friday extended to October 31 the deadline for paying annual Texas bar dues to avoid automatic license suspension. Under the latest order lawyers will be subject to suspension November 1 if their dues are not paid by the end of October. The payment deadline had been August 31.
