Thirteenth Court of Appeals

We write to you during an undoubtedly difficult and trying time for our State and its people.  Governor Abbott has declared a state of disaster for fifty counties in our State. Eighteen of those counties are part of our Thirteenth Court of Appeals District.

The purpose of this message is to pass along the attached “Emergency Order Authorizing Modification and Suspension of Court Procedures in Proceedings Affected by Disaster” from the Texas Supreme Court and Texas Court of Criminal Appeals that was issued this morning.
