Standardized Felony Judgment Forms

The Office of Court Administration (OCA) is statutorily directed to promulgate a standardized felony judgment form. See Texas Code Crim. Proc. Ann. art. 42.01, Section 4.

Pursuant to this directive, OCA has prepared the following felony judgment forms and instructions for the forms:

  1. Judgment of Acquittal by Court
  2. Judgment of Acquittal by Jury
  3. Judgment of Conviction by Court
  4. Judgment of Conviction by Jury
  5. Judgment of Conviction (Capital Murder-State seeks Death)
  6. Judgment of Conviction (Sex Offender Capital Case-State seeks Death)
  7. Order of Deferred Adjudication
  8. Judgment Adjudicating Guilt
  9. Judgment Revoking Community Supervision
  10. Instructions for Felony Judgment Forms

OCA has also prepared a list containing affirmative finding and special orders that may be inserted into the judgment forms as the need warrants.
