Here's an overview of judicial organizations available from the Organizations menu.

  • The Board of Law Examiners (BLE) is the judicial agency responsible for determining that applicants seeking to be licensed to practice law in Texas meet the qualifications set by the Supreme Court of Texas.
  • Judicial Education is administered by the Court of Criminal Appeals, and covers family violence, sexual assault, child abuse, diversions from prison, and guardianship.
  • The mission of the State Bar of Texas is to support the administration of the legal system, assure all citizens equal access to justice, foster high standards of ethical conduct for lawyers, enable its members to better serve their clients and the public, educate the public about the rule of law and promote diversity in the administration of justice and the practice of law.
  • The Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) is the only governing board authorized to certify attorneys in legal specialty areas.
  • The Texas Center for Legal Ethics (CLE) is a non-profit corporation that promotes the values contained in the Texas Lawyers’ Creed of Professionalism.
