Thirteenth Court of Appeals

Pro Bono

The Thirteenth Court of Appeals participates in the pro bono program administered by the State Bar of Texas. The goal of the program is to match a litigant with a civil appeal, who is financially unable to obtain legal representation, with a volunteer lawyer who agrees to serve without expectation of compensation for their service. If you believe that your civil appellate matter might qualify for inclusion in this program, details can be found in the State Bar of Texas Pro Bono Policies and FAQs. You may apply for the program by completing the applicable section on our Docketing Statement Form. However, please note that the Thirteenth Court of Appeals does not manage or administer the program or appoint lawyers to litigants. You must therefore still comply with all applicable deadlines until a volunteer attorney appears in this Court on your behalf.
