The Dallas Morning News, Inc. v. Hall, No. 02-16-00371-CV (May 25, 2017) (Meier, J.; Walker and Gabriel, JJ., concur without opinion).

Held:  Appellees met their burden under the Texas Citizens’ Participation Act to establish the falsity element of their libel claims against Appellants, i.e., that the gists of the complained-of publications were not substantially true.  Appellants’ search-warrant argument improperly required the trial court to resolve an opposing reasonable inference against Appellees.
