Justice Jeff Rambin was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Arts with University Honors in Political Science from Texas A&M in 1991 and his Juris Doctor from Baylor University in 1994. Justice Rambin has been a member of the State Bar of Texas ever since. Justice Rambin has been admitted to practice in numerous federal courts including the Eastern District of Texas, the Fifth Circuit, and the Federal Circuit.
In twenty-eight years of private practice, Justice Rambin represented clients at trial and on appeal in state and federal courts.
Justice Rambin was appointed to the 6th Court of Appeals by proclamation of Governor Abbott on November 30, 2022, and was sworn into office on January 1, 2023.
